Opera has launched a new 'gaming browser' where people can find their entire gaming fix in one place. Opera GX browser is free to download for Windows. Opera GX comes with a nifty feature which would help power users. The gaming browser lets users toggle their PC's RAM and CPU usage. Opera GX comes with a RAM Limiter and CPU Limiter for the browser. This feature is available on the left bar with shortcuts. Just below this is the shortcut for Twitch. Twitch users can check out which channels are live and also receive notifications once a new stream starts. More shortcuts available here include browser history, extensions and settings. Opera GX supports in-house extensions and Chrome extensions as well. Like the parent browser, Opera GX also comes with shortcuts for Messenger, WhatsApp and Telegram on the side bar. On the home page of Opera GX, users will be greeted with a section called 'GX Corner' where the upcoming and popular games are featured. Tapping on these games will take direct the user to its official website. Right now, the GX Corner features games like Wolfenstein, Forza Horizon 4, Blood and Truth, Tomb Raider and more. There's also a daily news section where the browser shows news stories from popular gaming portals like IGN and Gaming Central. Opera GX also shows entertainment and technology news. Opera GX can also be customized with sound effects, colours and themes. Users can also add wallpapers or set their desktop wallpaper as the browser's Forums Forum BlackBerry OS Phone Forums BlackBerry OS Apps 9 Choose which browser is better for your Blackberry. Consider the following example: You log in with your username and password combination to an e-commerce website using your laptop. This event qualifies you as an authenticated user, thus Identity Service recognizes your CRMID. Your use of a browser to access the e-commerce website is also recognized by Identity Service as an event. This event is represented in Identity Service through an ECID. AWS Marketplace is a digital catalog that customers can use to find, buy, deploy and manage third-party software that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS), the most widely used cloud computing platform.“Making the Island Enterprise Browser available through AWS Marketplace immediately provides us the ability to reach the vast number of AWS customers,” said Mike Fey, Island’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “By offering the Island Enterprise Browser on AWS, we provide IT departments of all sizes an efficient, frictionless path to access the security, productivity, performance, cost reduction and user experience benefits our product uniquely provides.”Fey said that a cornerstone of Island’s value proposition for IT organizations is ease. “We are providing a security solution that is easy to configure for specific business requirements, easy to deploy to in-office, remote and bring-your-own-device workers and easy for users to learn and use because of its familiar Chromium-based look and feel,” said Fey. “By making the Island Enterprise Browser available in the AWS Marketplace, we add another element of ease – ease to procure via a trusted cloud platform.”The rise of remote work, growth in business process outsourcing and proliferation of cloud-based apps are among the factors making the browser the place where workers now access the tools and information they need to do their jobs. Consumer browsers, however, are not capable of adequately protecting enterprises against cyber security threats. The Island Enterprise Browser, by contrast, embeds core control and protection capabilities into the browser itself at precisely the point users are interacting with enterprise data, applications and the internet – and does this without impeding users’ workflows and everyday routines. The Island Enterprise BrowserThe Island Enterprise Browser is the desktop of the future, enabling organizations to protect users and data at the very point where they interact with SaaS and internal web applications. Using the Island Enterprise Browser, security teams fully control the last mile, from basic protections such as copy, paste, download, upload, and screenshot capture, to more advanced security demands such as data redaction, watermarking and multi-factor authentication insertion. This opens up unprecedented opportunities across a growing number of enterprise use cases, including securing critical SaaS and internal web applications from data leakage, safe access for contractors and BYOD workers, and full governance over privileged user accounts. It also delivers a native user experience for the hybrid worker in contrast to costly and poor-performing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), while supporting built-in safe browsing, web filtering, web isolation, exploit prevention, and Zero Trust network access at much lower cost.About IslandIsland is the developer of the Enterprise Browser – the ideal enterprise workplace, where work flows freely while remaining fundamentally secure. With the core needs of the enterprise naturally embedded in the browser itself, Island gives organizations complete control, visibility, and governance over the last mile, while delivering the same smooth Chromium-based browser experience users expect.Where is browser on Vista? - Answers
Albertop @Guest last edited by albertop @serina100as a help forum thumb rule, next time remember to specify at least:which OS you use (type and version)which Opera browser (name/type and version - there are many)which extension (name and version) you got that error onand what the steps you've done exactly to reach to that error. That said, anyway, at least you provided the exact error message, that is fine .Another thumb rule, is: "Google is your friend", that is, do search yourself! Seems though, you've not tried to enter that error message into browser search bar and to press Enter... Ok, nope, I've done it for you.The very first result for the error message search is that: reading this page (question, comments and answers), you could probably understand (at least) that:there are different version of the extension package format, for different Chrome browser versionsso, downloading from an old browser version, it results always in an old package formatand, that this downloaded extension in old format, is not compatible with the new browser version(s).So, if you've got that message, the error means that (most probably!):you may have get that extension from a different browser than that where you tried to install it on, and it was not updatedor else, that you happened to downloaded the extension just before to update (or auto-update) the Opera browser to latest version, and then you tried to install it after the update).Case (1) sample instance: downloading the ext. from Chrome (probably old version?) and the installing on Opera (latest version probably ?).Anyway, the problem should be like that.[Note anyway, that the two browsers Opera and Chrome latest version, are not guaranteed to be always aligned to the same code base version, and this in turn can possibly make the ext. format temporarily incompatible among them].Then, if your case is like (2) or any other variant of it, simply downloading the extension again from the updated Opera, and the problem should disappear. If instead your problem is like case (1), the solutions that come to my mind are just two, and are both very simple:try again to get the same extension, from the same Chrome store web page address, but, downloading it right from the same Opera browser, where you want to install it (this solution will work every time);or else, update both the Google browser and Opera browser to latest version, before to try to download the extension again from Chrome, then try to install it on Opera (this, anyway, could not work, if for whatever reason Chrome and Opera are currently not in sync to the same code base version, and there is a leap of ext format).I suggest absolutely the first solution, because it is always better practice (and more polite) to download from the same browser where you want to install, but probably also the second solution can work (no 100% warranty anyway, as above said).Additional note: for security consideration, I also suggest you to keep the Chrome browser always updated, even if you don'tWhere are cookies located? - Web Browser Discussion, Browser
