Stagnant. I wanted to continue learning about God. I felt an emptiness without progress. New to podcasts I decided to see if there was anything Torah related and was so happy to find this one. It was exactly what I was looking for- a back to basics Jewish reading. It is clear why I had no hope of understanding the Bible without understanding the history of the times and Biblical Hebrew- it would take a second life to gain that knowledge on my own. Mr. Bradford makes sense of the Bible and it is interesting, suspenseful, enlightening, uplifting, humbling, inspiring… all the -ings! My life has been immeasurably enriched by this podcast. It is really addictive in a good way, once I start it is hard to tear myself away. I feel closer to God, understanding what he expects and trusting in Him through adversity- great happiness comes with that. I wish everyone could experience this!
