Be secure Key Specs Dimensions: 51.6 x 22.1 x 6.5 inches | Maximum Weight Capacity: 265 pounds | Speed Range: 0.6-4.0 MPH | Incline Range: 9 levels | Product Weight: 71 pounds | Foldable: No | Our Overall Rating: 4.9/5 Who It's For Best for light exercise and adding intensity to your daily step count. Why We Love It If you're looking to add a challenge to your daily step count, Urevo's SpaceWalk 3S Treadmill has a smooth operation that's gentle on the joints and nine incline levels to up your intensity. It's quiet enough that at lower speeds, we didn't even need to adjust our TV volume while using the walking pad. We found the app easy to use and liked that we could operate the treadmill controls with the app or the included remote. While the machine comes fully assembled, it's worth noting you might need two people to get it out of the box due to its weight. We really like the pause feature that gradually slows the speed before stopping and keeps your progress if you need to step away for a minute. The walking pad is easy to move around with built-in wheels and a large pull handle. And we like the added safety feature of an on/off switch so the belt can't start from the app or remote without being turned on. While the app doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, you can use it to set targets like time, distance, or step count. Potential Flaws Due to the slight incline, this walking pad is 6.5 inches high, making it too high to slide under a couch, so it may work best in a permanent location. The remote attaches to the walking pad with a magnet but we found it may not be secure enough, especially if you have pets or children in the house. Most Valuable Insight"The walking pad did not feel too bouncy or thick but had the right amount of give to be comfortable for use for long periods.I did not experience any discomfort." —Casey Jamison, Verywell Fit product tester PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Casey Jamison ProsGood shock-absorbing feelCompact designQuiet operationConsWheel placement makes storage difficult Key Specs Dimensions: 50.8 x 28.4 x 45.3 inches, unfolded; 53.5 x 28.4 x 5.9 inches, folded | Maximum Weight Capacity: 265 pounds | Speed Range: 0.6-7.6 MPH | Incline Range: 3 levels | Product Weight: 70.5 poundsPhotos - The Palm Tree Pad
Using it. We were able to store it in a closet but it would easily slide under furniture as well. We especially liked the app which allows you to control the machine, track your stats, and pause workouts. It connected seamlessly via Bluetooth and there's also a remote that can be used to control it. This walking pad is quiet enough to take phone calls or watch TV while you're using it. Its ease of use and app control made it very easy to multitask while getting our steps in. It's lightweight enough that it can be easily managed by one person, especially with the built-in wheels. It folds 180 degrees and is very easy to fold by just lifting the back end. This minimalist-design walking pad is a good value to get more activity in your day. Potential Flaws During testing, we noted this walking pad's power cord is short, limiting placement options. We noticed the belt is narrower than some other options and we accidentally stepped off of it if we weren't paying attention. Most Valuable Insight"if you work from home and want to get some movement in while working, when the weather is bad, etc., it's an ideal product to have. it's easy to fold up and store and then pull out when you want to use it." —Carrie Gavit, Verywell Fit product tester PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Carrie Gavit PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Carrie Gavit PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Carrie Gavit PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Carrie Gavit PHOTO: Verywell Fit/Carrie Gavit PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Carrie Gavit PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Carrie Gavit Walking Pads We Also Tested In total, we tested 30 walking pads and under-desk treadmills, but only 15 made it to our final list of recommendations. Here are some notable mentions that we didn't love enough to include on our list of top picks. WalkingPad’s C1 Lightest Foldable Walking Machine impressed us with its ease of setup, comfort, and quiet operation. However, certain components were fragile, like the plastic piece holding the plug. After a few weeks of use, the walking pad broke, becoming unusable. WalkingPad's X21 Double-Fold Treadmill has an app-controlled setup like other walking pads. However, during testing, we noted glitches in the app, which made it more complicated to use. The walking pad was also louder and less stable than expected.MERACH's T05 Smart Walking Treadmill has a max speed of 6 miles per hour, but we did not feel comfortable or safe using the faster speeds when testing it. With a walking mode, running mode, Bluetooth connectivity, and a foldable handrail, this treadmill can do it all. We especially loved the handrail, which was easy to fold up and down, and the slight incline, which added a bit of challenge to our step count. The motor is quiet enough that we could use it without disturbing family members. And the compact design allows it to slide under furniture or prop against a wall. The screen is easy to read, and this treadmill is so easy to use that we could just jump on and go. The walking pad is controlled with a remote that has easy-to-understand buttons. A feature we really liked was the 10-minute data retention feature that allowed us to step away for a moment without having to reset or start over. You can connect to the user-friendly Gymax app, which includes personalized plans, stat trackers, and a workout community. Potential Flaws During our test, we noted the phone holder on the handrail was set too low to be comfortable for viewing. We found the wheels were not very effective for moving this walking pad, and we were concerned about floor damage. Most Valuable Insight"This treadmill would be great for someone living in a small space. Why We Love It Versatile handrails for balance and support can be helpful on a walking pad. The foldable design of the handrails on Urevo's Strol Elite Treadmill makes it easy to use as an under-desk walking pad or for running workouts at home. The main handrail folds up and down with a simple flip of a latch—easy and intuitive. We also appreciated the extra side rails that fold up for added security and balance. During our test, we experienced no back or joint pain due to the nice shock absorption in the belt. The Strol Elite is comfortable and quiet enough for work meetings or streaming shows. We liked how easy it was to set up and get started with this treadmill—only requiring battery installation. Transitioning to different speeds was smooth, and we found the controls very easy and intuitive to use. There are speed and mode controls available on the handrail console as well as on a remote, but we preferred the console instead of having to hold a remote. The walking pad also features a 5% incline option for more challenging stepping. Potential Flaws This walking pad adjusts to a 5% incline, but you have to get off and do it manually. We would have appreciated an auto-incline feature. We also noted during testing that there's no water bottle holder on this treadmill, which would be a nice feature to have. Most Valuable Insight"It was very easy to fold and unfold. There was a latch you could move to unlock and lock the arms in place. It took only a few seconds to unlatch both arms and move them up or fold them down. It was very intuitive and I was able to do it myself." —Tatiana Kennedy, Verywell Fit product tester PHOTO: Verywell Fit / TatianaAmazon.com: Photo Mouse Pad

Why We Love It WalkingPad's MC11 Workout Treadmill is perfect if you live in a small apartment or other small space, and need a treadmill that stores in a corner or under a bed or couch. We loved the compact, foldable design that made this machine easy to store. Large dials make it simple to fold the handlebar down and the belt folds in half, creating a compact package that can be rolled out of the way. It was perfectly quiet for working and watching television while walking, but it's worth noting, we found it too noisy to run on. The KS Fit app took only seconds to connect to and it can be used to track your workout progress as well as control the treadmill like a remote, which is convenient. We found this walking pad easy to use and easy to store. We loved it despite the handlebar preventing us from fitting it under a desk. And the screen is bright and we had no trouble reading it during our test walks and runs. Potential Flaws During our test, we noticed some wear on the display screen after just a couple weeks of use, so this treadmill may not be as durable as some other options. We love how compactly this walking pad folds up, but it is heavy to move around. Most Valuable Insight"I LOVE this treadmill. It was so easy to set up and put away, which is very important given we just have a one-bedroom apartment and don't exactly have ample space to have an entire treadmill hanging around." — Kelly Meehan Brown, Verywell Fit product tester PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Kelly Meehan Brown PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Kelly Meehan Brown PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Kelly Meehan Brown PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Kelly Meehan Brown PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Kelly Meehan Brown ProsNine incline levelsRemote or app controllableGradual pause featureConsToo tall to store under furnitureRemote storage may notLily Pad Photos, Download The BEST Free Lily Pad
| Foldable: Yes | Our Overall Rating: 4.9/5 Who It's For Best for users who want to walk while they work but also have the option to do a running workout. Why We Love It With a bouncy, shock-absorbing feel and the ability to go to 7.6 miles per hour, Urevo's Strol 1 Pro Treadmill is versatile enough to walk while you work and get a running workout in too. We thought the cushioned feet and silicone shock absorbers felt great and were easy on our joints, even at higher speeds. Having displays on the walking pad and the handrail makes it easy to see your stats no matter how you're using the machine. And you can operate the controls with the handrail or the remote. The walking pad came fully assembled, and folding the handrail was a simple matter of adjusting the locking dial. The machine is quiet enough during operation that family members in the next room couldn't hear it during our test. Its compact design allows it to be stored under furniture or upright against a wall. Even though the belt size is a little smaller than a typical treadmill, as long as we stayed focused, running was no problem. Potential Flaws We noted a flaw in the placement of the wheels that required the walking pad to be tilted up at a 45-degree angle to be moved, which made getting it under furniture challenging and risked floor damage. Most Valuable Insight"Overall, the treadmill is super easy to use and it satisfies diverse needs. I can wheel it in between rooms easily. It is suitable for walking or running. It just works into my life and my one-bedroom rental." —Jill Gordon, Verywell Fit product tester PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Jill Gordon ProsRemote or app controllableFolds 180 degreesLightweightConsShort power cordNarrower walking belt Key Specs Dimensions: 56.1 x 22 x 4.1 inches, unfolded; 31.8 x 22 x 5.4 inches, folded | Maximum Weight Capacity: 242 pounds | Speed Range: 1.0-4.0 MPH | Incline Range: None | Product Weight: 51 pounds | Foldable: Yes | Our Overall Rating: 4.8/5 Who It's For Best for users who need a very compact machine and like to track stats and workouts. It was very intuitive and I was able to do it myself." —Tatiana Kennedy, Verywell Fit product tester PHOTO: Verywell Fit / Tatiana
