Double Licensed as: SKL1.0 GPLv2 You are free to choose the license that better suits you. Description It aims to need minimal coupling (if any)with existent code, as well to be selectively injected on the broken parts in order to prevent unholy interactions with third-party modules that decide to fix things their own way. The following fixes are available once installed (and applied only when needed!): Parked crafts (even without wheels) drifting the Heading randomly on KSP >= 1.8 Crafts with wheels also drifts, but due a different problem - still to be tackled down. This was discussed here. Resources being reset to prefab when a part has his Resources changed by an Add'On (as TweakScale) (i.e., by Alt+Click a part, or by using symmetry) on KSP 1.9.x . KSP 1.9.x resets resources to prefab while cloning parts This solution aims to be reusable to any Add'On that have the same problem with a simple two liner. Some Add'Ons that supports TweakScale by using Scale_Redist.dll are also fixed by collateral effect. Losing Resources' amount settings when cloning parts (Alt+Click) on KSP 1.9.x As described here. Editor mangling Surface Attached Parts' position when loading crafts on 1.4.3 This was (properly this time) discussed here. And here. I.C.A. (Instantaneous Craft Annihilation) on KSP 1.11.0 when launching or switching back to vessels with some older parts, when the vessel is over. I think KSP Recall way of solving the problem is inducing Making History parts to a bork. At least it works on Stock Parts, so I'm not doing something too much exoteric, it's something specific to Making History (until the moment). Well, I have some ideas to test. I'll be back on this matter soon. Really thank you, @Vegetal, KSP Recall (and me) would be in a deep pile of rectangular pieces of paper without your help - I just don't have time these days to do exploratory tests as you are doing, I just would not be able to catch these misbehaviours!! Thanks again! Edited March 5, 2020 by Lisias
 Share I don't know why you think only expansion parts cause this. I just replicated the error with any fuel tank here, even Mk3 tank fuselages. What I noticed: surface attaching a single tank doesn't seem to cause any trouble, console stays normal when I right click the tank. The problem arises when I try to use any level of symmetry. It looks like something in the code isn't prepared to handle copying the tank around the vessel. At least that's what I think with my limited knowledge of all this. And again, my pleasure to help. I already used this mod a lot. EDIT: Mega weird...if you place a tank below your capsule, and alt-copies it to place it radially with symmetry, nothing wrong happens. It only goes wrong when you pick a new tank on the parts list and try to surface attach it with symmetry. No hunch from me this time, I'm gonna let the professionals figure this one out Edited March 5,KSP Making History Expansion - Steam Community
ANNOUNCE Release 2.4.5.2 is available for downloading, with the following changes: Raise the bar to KSP 1.12.2 (Finally) adds support for Parts and Modules from KSP 1.11 and newer. Implements the TweakScaleExperimental Patches Program. A lot of patches are not fully tested, and some Exponents will probably need revising. Since both these patches as well the unavoidable revisions that will follow may unbalance current crafts in savegames, it’s advised discretion on activating the Experimental features. Closes Issues: #186 Check and implement all Modules left behind from 1.4.0 up to 1.10.1 #184 Scale some unsupported parts on EXPERIMENTAL status #182 Get rid of TODOs related to updating scale types. #181 Support the new Parts introduced on KSP 1.12 and Update Scale Exponents to the new Modules #128 Support the new Parts introduced on KSP 1.12 and Update Scale Exponents to the new Modules #120 Support the new Parts introduced on KSP 1.10 #50 Support the new Parts introduced on KSP 1.11 and Update Scale Exponents to the new Modules See OP for the links. (Previous announce) Highlights TweakScaleExperimental support for parts and modules From 2.4.5.2, TweakScale is starting to support, as possible, all KSP modules - and not only the most visible ones, as well parts. In order to pursue that goal without risking your ongoing savegames (as changing Exponents will unbalance your designs, potentially ruining your crafts), some parts and modules scalings are only available on Experimental mode. Such mode will patch almost all KSP parts and modules (but Serenity/Breaking Ground as this one will be tackled down later, see the backlog for more information), including some that I’m unsure should be scaled - not to mention Exponents that I’m pretty sure will need some rebalancing. In order to toy with these parts and modules, you need to create a directory called TweakScaleExperimental in your GameData. The directory may be empty, it’s enough to have it on GameData so Module Manager will register it, satisfying the :NEEDS that enable such patches and Exponents. Please only enable these patches on disposable or non valuable KSP installments. These patches are going to change for sure in the near future, and these changes will be incompatible with savagames created with the previous set of Experimental patches. Standard mechanism to control TweakScale availability From 2.4.5.0 and up, it’s possible to deactivate TweakScale on some (or even all) parts by patching or on the user interface without affecting living crafts on the savegame (or even already existent craft files). A patching only feature can lock up TweakScale on the current state, making easier to create artefacts to automatically reconfigure a savegame for Challenges with specific rules. Again, without affecting existent crafts or savegames - once the craft is launched, it’s not affected by these options. See the Documentation for details. Parts with Variants Variants that change Cost and/or Mass are now fully supported, but TweakScale is struggling to support Parts with Variants that changes Attachment Nodes. I had planned to withdraw TweakScale support from suchKSP: Making History for free eligibiility question

"Extra" patch for the procedural ore tank, as they've accepted my PR to add it directly to the part config.Engine patches now operate on minThrust as well as maxThrust (if someone should ever release an engine with nonzero minThrust).Reduced reaction-wheel authority on command pods in proportion to their mass reduction.Adjusted IFS patch. It works again, but note that IFS already has its own RSS patch, so SMURFF defers to that.Added support for Mark IV tank types. LFO and hydrolox tanks got a bit of a buff, most everything else stays put. Because the corresponding versions of NFP and CryoTanks were released for KSP 1.3.1, this version and later versions are not compatible with KSP 1.2.2 or 1.3.0.The "Extra" patch for Ven's Stock Revamp is more detailed, and now has different behavior for when CryoTanks is or is not installed. Their performance is baselined to the Super Lightweight (Space Shuttle External) Tank.02018 03 21 (1.8.0): Kerbal EquinoxUpdated xenon patches to new balance of stock tanks. If you're not looking for Making History parts, you can try the stock parts page.Making History Parts are the basic assembly items for rocket construction in Kerbal Space Program that resemble real-life rockets. As a whole, they compose the building materials the player can choose from in the Vehicle Assembly Building. Making History Parts are added into eight major categories: Pods, Fuel Tanks, Engines, Structural, Coupling, Payload, Ground, and Thermal. The expansion has 64 parts to choose from (as of version 1.7).The Making History parts in the game are based of the American Space Programs (NASA) and Soviet (USSR) cosmonautics during the 1950s-1980s, but were given a KSP feel.Contents1 Tables of Parts1.1 Pods1.2 Fuel Tanks 1.2.1 Rocket fuel tanks1.2.2 RCS fuel tanks1.3 Engines 1.4 Structural1.5 Coupling1.5.1 Engine Plates1.5.2 Docking1.5.3 Decoupler and Separator1.6 Payload1.6.1 Fairings1.6.2 Service bays1.7 Aerodynamic1.8 Ground1.9 ThermalTables of PartsIn the tables are the main properties of the parts. In most cases the tables follows the categorization structure of the game. In case of deviation, the position in part board of the game is noted. Some parts have been made physicsless to improve performance in the game from version 0.23 onwards. These parts behave as if they have no mass and cause no drag, unless they become the root part of a vessel. Many parts have some resource storing capacity, which makes the mass and the cost different in full and empty state. In this case the full is shown as normal, and the empty values are in round brackets under the full values. Some properties, like the entry cost, are not included, but can be found in the part-box on right side of the part's page.Pods Image Part Radial size Cost() Mass(t)Max. It’s known to the date: Interstellar Fuel Switch Works without KSP-Recall. It’s coded it’s own Resource Management, so it’s imune to KSP 1.9 bruteness. Firespitter I detected no problems on it Anything that supports (or it’s supported by) TweakScale TweakScale already handles KSP-Recall, so anything that makes use of Scale_Redist is already covered Modular Fuel Tanks is one of that Add'Ons, as long nobody shoves its on parts that already have another Fuel Switch. B9 Parts Switch should work. As longe there’re no other Fuel Switch installed on the same part. Other fuel switches: As long the OnEditorVesselModified is fired on each change (or one of the Custom Events from Recall, see below), it should work fine. Please report on this thread anything that you thing is wrong. I’m fixing them as I’m aware of them. Crafts at rest changes drifts the Heading by their own Spoiler On TweakScale’s Forum thread, a discussion about a problem introduced on KSP 1.8 that made the crafts to drift the heading randomly when leaved at their own, even with parking breaks or not wheels at all! KSP-Recall introduces a new work around for this problem, detecting when the Heading drift is unwanted and canceling it. It does not fixes, specifically, the drift induced by the wheels itself, but helps on preventing situations where the wheels problem would be triggered. Fixing Costs refunds when Recovering Crafts on KSP 1.11.x Spoiler On TweakScale’s Forum thread, a discussion about a problem introduced on KSP 1.1.0 that made refunds on craft recovering problematic - as the user end up losing any extra costs a module implements for the part using the IPartCostModifier. Many, many add'ons are affected by this problem. KSP-Recall solves this by implementing a new module, Refunding, that makes use of a meta-resource (also called.
No hunch from me this time, I'm gonna let the professionals figure this one out Edited March 5,
2025-04-03ANNOUNCE Release 2.4.5.2 is available for downloading, with the following changes: Raise the bar to KSP 1.12.2 (Finally) adds support for Parts and Modules from KSP 1.11 and newer. I had planned to withdraw TweakScale support from such
