About “Back to Me” Jacquees returns with a YouTube and SoundCloud-exclusive mixtape titled “Back to Me.” This 16-song project was teased multiple times leading up to the surprise release with a snippet of “It’s Like,” as well as previewing the features, (Keem from Bluff City, Dej Loaf, Yella Beezy & TK Kravitz), with pool balls. While most songs were new to fans, some songs like “If I” and “Wait for It” were teased previously, specifically in 2021. The project starts of with a toxic message in the song “They Not Lying,” which opens with a phone call saying Jacquees' partner has left him due to his unreliability in the relationship. There is no set storyline or theme for these songs, but the quality is high and the variety is strong, with slow, traditional R&B classics like “Spend the Night,” as well as uplifting, fast-tempo songs like “Who’s Ya Baby Daddy.”
