Hello everyone, I present Hermes sculpture from Netflix’s anime Blood of Zeus. These are clay renders of Hermes statue that I made in Zbrush. I decided to shift from Comic book characters and work on something completely different. I was fascinated by Netflix original anime series Blood Of Zeus. I decided to sculpt Hermes’s sculpture statue. I really liked the character and production design of the anime. I’m looking forward to seeing the second season. You may see the Process of sculpting of Hermes’ statue in my blog HERE. Definitely, many movies, videogames, and series were inspired by Greek mythology, and Blood of Zeus was one of the great depictions of the myth. The creators included their own original ideas and stories and we get to see a different version of the messenger god Hermes. He may seem a bit contradictory to the original Greek myth where he’s an energetic, playful, and slightly mischievous god. In Blood of Zeus, Hermes is quiet, cautious, and very loyal to Zeus. Hermes sculpture was digitally sculpted in Zbrush and it was rendered with Mental ray inside 3DSmax program. Sincerely, Tsaber “Am I unclaimed? No, Hermes is my father. So many breaks in these lines compared to the narration? How did Apollo come to have the lyre? • Hermes, the herald of the Olympian gods, is the son of Zeus and the nymph Maia, daughter of Atlas and one of the Pleiades. Hermes is the god of shepherds, land travel, merchants, weights and measures, oratory, literature, athletics and thieves, and known for his cunning and shrewdness. Most importantly, he is the messenger of the gods. Besides that he was also a minor patron of poetry. He was worshiped throughout Greece -- especially in Arcadia -- and festivals in his honor were called Hermoea. • According to legend, Hermes was born in a cave on Mount Cyllene in Arcadia. Zeus had impregnated Maia at the dead of night while all other gods slept. When dawn broke amazingly he was born. Maia wrapped him in swaddling bands, then, resting herself, fell fast asleep. Hermes, however, squirmed free and ran off to Thessaly. This is where Apollo, his brother, grazed his cattle. Hermes stole a number of the herd and drove them back to Greece. He hid them in a small grotto near to the city of Pylos and covered their tracks. Before returning to the cave he caught a tortoise, killed it and removed its entrails. Using the intestines from a cow stolen from Apollo and the hollow tortoise shell, he made the first lyre. When he reached the cave he wrapped himself back into the swaddling bands. • When Apollo realized he had been robbed he protested to Maia that it had been Hermes who had taken his cattle. Maia looked to Hermes and said it could not be, as he is still wrapped in swaddling bands. Zeus the all-powerful intervened saying he had been watching and Hermes should return the cattle to Apollo. As the argument went on, Hermes began to play his lyre. The sweet music enchanted Apollo, and he offered Hermes to keep the cattle in exchange for the lyre. • Apollo later became the grand master of the instrument, and it also became one of his symbols. Later while Hermes watched over his herd he invented the pipes known as a syrinx (pan-pipes), which he made from reeds. Hermes was also credited with inventing the flute. Apollo also desired this instrument, so Hermes bartered with Apollo and received his golden wand, which Hermes later used as his heralds staff. (In other versions Zeus gave Hermes his heralds staff). He then concludes the story of Io's journey, telling how at the end of her suffering Zeus will cure and impregnate her with a gentle touch of his hand. Prometheus talks about Io's descendants, who will become kings of the city Argos. Io runs off again tortured by the gadfly, and the Oceanids chant about the dangers of marrying above one's own rank, expressing the hope that Zeus never takes an interest in them.Angered by Io's suffering, Prometheus shouts out that Zeus's own son will topple him. Zeus's messenger Hermes enters and orders Prometheus to reveal the identity of this son's mother. Prometheus mocks Hermes and says that he will tell nothing. Hermes accuses Prometheus of being overly obstinate, disobedient, and mad. Prometheus deflects each accusation with direct insults or sarcasm. Hermes warns that if Prometheus does not yield, a storm will send him to Tartarus. Then he will emerge only to have an eagle eat his liver every day, and this will not end until a god agrees to die for him. The Chorus advises Prometheus to yield, but he shows no fear of his destiny. Hermes orders the Oceanids away, but they reply that to betray a friend is the worst crime of all and vow to stay with Prometheus. As the earth begins to shake and thunder gathers around him, Prometheus calls on the elements to witness his suffering. Funeral Games is the fourth episode of Season 2 of the Blood of Zeus series.Synopsis[]While mourning their fallen king, the immortals honor Zeus with celebratory games. But the competition between Ares and Heron grows brutally violent.Summary[]Heron stares at the compass that Hephaestus gave him as Fate Spiders crawl onto him. Surrounded by the Fates they ask him why he's been avoiding them, which Heron answers his brother Seraphim called the Gods flawed. The Fates confirm that as true, but enforce that their providence is not; it comes from something greater than them, and they're its vessel. Above the fates show a severed thread that symbolizes his life and it's said by them that Heron isn't long for this world. A spider then crawls onto Heron's shoulder and bites him.Awakening from his dream, Heron walks off his bed, and the Fates appear again in front of him, stating that he's not in a dream, but a nightmare. They then say that during the war on Olympus, someone snuck into their temple and severed his thread, and they don't know who may have done it. While the Fates claim that normally they're the ones that cut threads of the living's threads, an unknown interloper did it, making his death inevitable. "It was forged by a god. It can cut through any rock, metal, any material of this Earth. Not even Hephaestus's armor can withstand it."―Hera describing the sword to Seraphim in Escape or Die.The Adamantium Sword was a supernatural sword used by Seraphim. It was said to be able to cut through anything, made by either man or god.Description[]When someone uses the sword, it glows bright blue.History[]Throughout the Series[]To help Heron combat Seraphim, Zeus, still disguised as an old man, sent Heron on a mission. He climbed a mountain and found a special metal ore that he brought back down the mountain. Then, Zeus forged the ore into a sword for Heron to use in the coming war. Naturally, this was no normal weapon, as it could quite literally cut through anything, making it especially advantageous when fighting gods, monsters, and demons. When Heron finds out that Zeus is his true father and has been hiding in plain sight as the old man for years, he throws the sword away in anger. From there, Hera later told Seraphim to retrieve the sword, telling him that the sword would allow him to defeat Talos, the guardian of the Cauldron of Darkness. Seraphim would later find the sword still embedded in the stone where Heron threw it, and he used it to his advantage for a time and later used it in his fight with Talos. After Seraphim defeats Talos and retrieves the Cauldron of Darkness, he leaves the sword behind, embedded in Talos's eye, to make his escape, not having time to retrieve it.Trivia[]In Greek mythology, Cronus castrated his father, Uranus, using an adamant sickle given to him by his mother, Gaia. The hero Perseus also used an adamantine sickle or sword to decapitate the Gorgon Medusa while she slept. It is worth noting that neither Heron nor Zeus seemed particularly troubled by Seraphim having the blade in his possession, as both ought to move on. Even stranger was the fact that no one put any real effort into getting it back from Seraphim or looking for it after he fell, as it proved to not be seen as potentially useful.Gallery[]See also[]Blood of ZeusCharactersHeron • Zeus • Hera • Seraphim • Electra • Alexia • Evios • Kofi • Ariana • Hermes • Apollo • Ares • Poseidon • HadesSpeciesHuman • Demon • God • Titan • Giant • Wraith • CentaurItemsCauldron •Hermes Blood Of Zeus GIF - Hermes Blood Of Zeus Netflix - Tenor
Beat Heron more harshly, but is stopped when Hera appears and demands that the fight end.As Heron is taken away by Alexia and the group, Apollo and Athena demand that Hera leave or else, but Hera notes that it won't settle their pain or reduce their anger. Although Apollo wants to be confrontational with Hera, she argues that she's still Queen of the Heavens and hopes to make amends for her past misdeeds. In doing so, she'll banish herself from Olympus for a thousand years, but she first will pay her respects to Zeus before hand.A debate erupts on Hera's right to stay between the bastard children Apollo, Athena, and Artemis against Ares, with Aphrodite and Thanatos by his side. Hera tries to break it up by leaving and taking Ares with her, but it was a futile effort. At that moment, the ground shakes, and Gaia appears from it; Heron then approaches her while stating that she spoke to him in his dreams. Gaia then states that Hera is on the grounds of a truce and will respect her vow to leave after she pays her respects. She continues that for three days, Zeus' death will be mourned. After those days have ended, a challenge will offered, and the prize will be the Eleusinian Stone. The one who wins the stone will become the next ruler, and with that, Gaia takes her leave.Afterward, the Gods and Heron leave an offering at Zeus' temple. When it was Hermes' turn to give his offering, he abstracted Zeus' soul from the remains of his crown, and Zeus acknowledged his children. When Zeus says that Heron should inherit the Ring, Heron claims it should go to someone who wants to rule. Still, Zeus claims it's not about ruling, but accepting who you are. Zeus then claims that everyone is flawed in their own way; he himself admits it, but their ideals are pure, and in the moments, they strive for them. He then asks that they honor him by ending the conflict and live as not how he lived, but how he died, striving to be something greater than himself. With that, Hermes collects Zeus' soul and briskly runs off to deliver it to the Underworld. Heron then tells his friends that Gaia told him to find the Adamantium Sword and save Seraphim. The revelation perplexes the group.Characters[]HeronAresGaiaHadesElectra (Mentioned)HeraKofiEviosAlexiaDemeterAthenaHestiaAphroditeZeusPersephoneSeraphimClothoLachesisAtroposArtemisHermesHestiaPoseidonDionysusApolloThanatosEnyoNyxHephaestusTrivia[]Kofi states he will pray to Maher. Percy is to die.Grover reveals to Percy on the bus that he is supposed to be his protector and has been watching out for him throughout school. He also gives him a card with an address for "Camp Half-Blood".He promptly ditches Grover claiming his paranoia was scaring him, then returns home to his flat in New York with his mother (Sally Jackson) and his step-father ( Gabe Ugliano ). His step-father is drinking and gambling and is generally quite an unpleasant man. His mother on the other hand is perfect in Percy's eyes. Upon his return Sally tells Gabe that Percy and her are going to Montauk for a holiday. While on the way there a minotaur (also sent by Hades) intercepts them, they make their way to Camp Half-blood when Sally is picked up y the minotaur and seemingly killed. This drives Percy into a battle frenzy and he attacks and kills the minotaur taking its horn as a memento of his victory. He arrives in the camp partially unconscious and is taken to a room of healing for a few days before being discharged and allowed to explore the camp. After meeting Annabeth he is shown the camp and is placed in the Hermes Cabin where he is befriended by its counselor Luke. It is later explained to him that after WWII a pact was made where The “Big 3” gods vowed not to have children. Zeus is then revealed to have broken this and the tree that marks the boundary of Camp Halfblood is what remains of her (when dying was into Tree as a memorial by Zeus).Percy while exploring is given the Ares Camp welcome a.k.a. the swirllie when he reverses it and gives them all the swirllie instead. Later on during the game of Capture the flag, The Ares cabin comes back for revenge and he is defeated until he reaches the water where he gets more power and beats them all single-handedly. He is soon revealed to be the son of Poseidon.Percy is soon summoned before Chiron (who was the Mr. Brunner who saved him) andComments
