Apparently, the FastHelp system assumes you have completed your request, and records what you have left 'unfinished'. I then placed a NEW order, entering the correct amount I wanted. After an extended period, I received not one, but two emails, each stating/'confirming' that I had placed separate orders. When I attempted to contact Customer Service's phone number, I encountered an automated message informing me that phone contact was not available, due to COVID-19 restrictions. I then contacted Customer Service's email address, and received a response within the time period stated/'promised'. In that response, I was assured that the 'original' order (of which I had provided a confirmation number) would be noted, and upon receipt I should just return it. The regular posters here always try to help by giving examples that you may need to modify or adapt to your situation. They assume you want to learn how to code in AutoHotkey. If such is not the case, many times you may have to wait for a period of time for someone to code a solution for you and that generally requires a number of back-and-forth responses to get all the unspoken requirements down so the script can run as required. As you can see the process of developing any given script for or with a community member varies depending on the perceptions of the people engaged in the conversation.The reason I injected into this thread is because I'm developing a script that does pretty much what you say you need. However, it uses one running script that runs a 2nd script and passes the filename, the ini section, and the key to that second script so the data can be read and modified by the 2nd without tying up the first script waiting for the user to provide input. Given what you say is the current level of your AutoHotkey expertise, My solution would be, not only overkill for your need, but would likely not be suitable for the problem you want to solve even tho it does essentially what you're asking. See where i'm going with this?
