GOTY Edition: Bug in starting Blood and WineSo, I Just bought Blue Ray Disc of Witcher 3: GOTY Edition today and starts playing immidiately.I started the "Hearth of Stone only" new game, and as it turns out, Blood wine are also available in that "Heart of stone only" new game.I'm starting Blood and Wine questline by finding the two knights from Toissant in stonecutter settlement, help them fighting bandits, some dialogue and then i accept the main quest. And here it is getting weird:After the Knights says that geralt would go to Touissant along with them, there's some loading screen. (takes long time, which is usual) But, then suddenly a Game Over screen is appeared, i chose "Load most recent save" and repeat all the dialogue all over again, same thing happened again. There's no error message, the system didn't hang either, "game over" screen appears right after loading screen. How is it possible Gerat dies during loading??Does anyone else with GOTY edition have same problem?is this a bug?Or is it have some relation with the main quest from "Hearth of stone" also being active?Any help would be appreciatedUPDATE:Ah, sorry i forgot, here is the detail:System: PS4Form; DiscUpdate version 1.31CUSA Code: 05572Problem occured twice (haven't try it again though) Last edited: Oct 12, 2016 You could try to rebuild your PS4 database. Not sure if it helps to this, but always worth a try. One option is to start that quest again and choose different dialogues (although Geralt shouldn't die like that no matter what you choose). You can try again few more times. You can also try to reinstal your game. You can send this issue to RED support, specially if it keeps happening over and over again. Please include your save file to that report if just possible. Thanks Broit actually happened twice, and i haven't try it againI read the quest walkthrough, turns out geralt are fighting a monster as soon as he arrives a Tuoissant. So I suspect that my problem are caused by the game already put me in fight with the monster, but the screen are still showing loading screen.probably i'll try it again this afternoon if i got the time.Just curious whether some else have same or similar problem with me?I'll send the Issue to RED Support if the problem persist and completely prevent me from playing Blood and wine One more option to this if nothing else helps... You can try to start BAW only (you are still able to do HoS too) and see if that changes anything. I try playing it again this afternoon from same save file, and it turns out okay. Arrived safely in touissant without any problem. So i guess, if anyoneWine Wars: Belgaard Walkthrough - Wine Wars - Blood and Wine
… How long does it take to 100% Blood and Wine? Read More. How long is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine? When focusing on the main objectives, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine is about 15 Hours in length. If you’re a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 40½ Hours to obtain 100% completion. When should I go to Toussaint? Going to Toussaint begins the DLC, so players should have Geralt around level 34 as there are some powerful enemies that will immediately be a problem if under leveled.Should you finish main story before Blood and Wine? If you beat Blood and Wine then finish the campaign honestly the remainder of the campaign will be very easy. But if you mean in terms of story, no it doesn’t matter unless of course you get the bad ending, then we’ll it doesn’t make much sense that you’d be doing Blood and Wine afterwards. Is Blood and Wine better than Witcher 3? Conclusion. Choosing the best The Witcher 3 DLC is a challenging task. Both present new content, adventures, and heroes that are often described as better than those in the base game. In the end, Blood and Wine wins!Who is the hardest boss in Witcher 3 Blood and Wine? 1 Dettlaff Also known as The Beast of Beauclair, Dettlaff van der Eretein is a higher vampire that shows up in the Blood and Wine expansion and is considered by many to be the game’s toughest enemy. How old is Dettlaff? Like all other vampires, Dettlaff van der Eretein was pulled from his homeworld to the Witcher world during the Conjunction of the Spheres. Being a higher vampire, he is practically immortal, and has been alive for hundreds if not thousands of years. Can Dettlaff be saved? Dettlaff can be killed multiple ways but can only live if you let him kill Syanna and then don’t fight him. You as Geralt will go to prison if Detlaff kills Syanna. Anna and Syanna can either both die or both live. But the only way to get them to both live is to have Syanna meet Detlaff and have given her the ribbon. Can you romance Anna in Blood and Wine? Her story is part of the DLC Blood and Wine. Geralt encounters her in the arena, and she remains a main. The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine walkthrough: Pomp and Strange Circumstance. 2025-04-11Nothing. Do not speak with the bootblack again, and do not investigate the murders any further.Go to the award ceremony without talking to Syanna in her cell.At the trial, a very different result will occur — Syanna kills Anna, and is killed herself shortly thereafter. This is the most tragic ending to the story of these two sisters, leading to both of their deaths in a senseless struggle. The ending for Geralt is happier and extends further than expecting, serving as an epilogue to the entire Witcher 3 saga.Fully explore the region of Toussaint with every how-to and guide for Witcher 3: Blood & Wine on Gameranx:Witcher 3: Blood & Wine – How to Access the DLCWitcher 3: Blood & Wind – DLC-Exclusive MutationsWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Armor Dyes Locations | Crafting GuideWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Corvo Bianco Vineyard Upgrades GuideWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Unique Weapons LocationsWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Grandmaster Witcher Sets GuideWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Achievements & TrophiesWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Manticore Witcher Set LocationsWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Syanna | Romance & Sex GuideWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Main Quest Boss Battles | Tips & TricksWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Grandmaster Smith Location GuideWitcher 3: ‘Turn and Face the Strange’ DLC Puzzle SolutionsWitcher 3: Patch 1.2 – How to Dupe Gold | Infinite Cash GlitchWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Remove the Wight’s Curse | GuideWitcher 3: Blood & Wine – Aerondight | Best Swords GuideSource: [1]
