Learn foundational skills for adding features to OmniFocus on iPhone, iPad, and Mac using Omni Automation Plug-Ins.Omni Automation is a technology that allows you to add functionality to OmniFocus on iPhone, iPad, and Mac using “plug-ins.” Omni’s other apps also support this technology, which can be a helpful way to create a bridge between OmniFocus and OmniOutliner, OmniGraffle, and OmniPlan.This course will help you tap into Omni Automation’s power by using existing OmniFocus plug-ins, including those featured in our OmniFocus Plug-Ins Directory. It doesn’t assume any previous knowledge of Omni Automation and doesn’t require any programming skills.Please Note: OmniFocus Pro is required to use Omni Automation on Mac, iPhone, and iPad.This course was created using OmniFocus 3. We plan to release an updated course for OmniFocus 4. In the meantime, most of the content in this course applies to OmniFocus 4. You should be able to do the following in Terminal: Code: defaults write com.omnigroup.OmniFocus OSUDebugDownload -bool YES Then, launch OmniFocus and do a software update. There should be some loggingin /Applications/Utilities/Console.app that will maybe provide a clue as to wherethis is going wrong.
